​Rest your worried hearts and minds, love is abundant in this universe.

Nature would not have engrained in all of our hearts

This deepest longing for love, if it wasn't known to be our natural state of flourishing

 

It's like the Earth saying it longs for rain and worried it won't come

Only to feel dampness rise from its very centre, spring water bursting

From its surface into the sky and watering itself from the inside out

 

You are the medicine.

I think when we bring ourselves near each other, bursting from within

The ground beneath the ones beside us shakes

And their spring bursts too, nourishing themselves from their body of Earth

And then, we all stand back and laugh together each saying to the other,

"Now see look what you've done to me!"

"No, it's you that have liberated me to life with your light and your love!"

And back and forth we argue about who loved who first,

While it rains

 

Together we are the medicine.
